For the month of August, Cleo Angione has been selected to be our Employee of the Month! She was chosen because she shows the residents compassion and she is always willing to help her fellow staff members. Cleo goes above and beyond every day and always has a positive attitude.
Cleo became a certified nursing assistant 8 years ago and 7 of them have been here at Woodbriar. Before becoming a great Woodbriar employee she worked in a restaurant. Cleo wanted a change in career and went for her CNA license. She always loved to help others and knew this was the right job for her. She loves her job and doesn’t want to do anything else. What she loves most about her job is the big smiles the residents give her when they see her. “It’s rewarding to see them smile.”
When she is not taking great care of our residents she enjoys walking with her two dogs that are named Phoebe and Bella. Also loves to relax at home doing crossword puzzles.
For the month of July, Rachelle Bernard-Elony was selected as our Employee of the Month. Rachelle has been an LPN for 13 years and has been bringing her amazing attitude and clinical skills to Woodbriar for the last two. When you ask Rachelle what she likes most about her job here, her humble answer is “Working with the patients and staff.” Honestly, that’s why WE LOVE working with Rachelle! When she’s not covering our Andover unit, Rachelle spends time with her adorable 2 year old daughter and her husband. Rachelle loves to dance so be on the look-out for Woodbriar’s Dancing Employee of the Month, Rachelle Bernard-Elony!
In June, Woodbriar Health Center’s Employee of the Month was Eileen Rourke. Eileen has been a CNA 7 years and has been with us for half of her career! After taking care of both of her parents, Eileen left her managerial position at a manufacturing company in order to answer her new calling, caring for those in need. Eileen doesn’t stop being aid just because she’s off the clock. She provides amazing care to friends and family, truly proving that her work is more than a paycheck… it’s a lifestyle! And when there’s time for fun, you can find Eileen chilling at the beach. Whether it’s sunbathing or watching the waves, Eileen finds relaxation and rejuvenation when she’s near the water. A true care giver, when Eileen was asked what she liked the most about her role at Woodbriar, she answered, “A sense of accomplishment. Seeing a patient meet their goals, going from point A to point B is amazing.” For Eileen, knowing that she’s an important part of that growth is what keeps her coming back for more!
